ABOUT US

About Us | A Different Approach To Payment Technology

Monument Payments helps businesses navigate payment processing, point-of-sale systems, software integrations, and payment technology through expert guidance, tailored recommendations, and long-term support.

We believe technology should fit the way your business operates, not the other way around. Every engagement starts with understanding your goals, workflows, and challenges before recommending a solution.

Whether you need a simple payment setup, a fully integrated POS system, or a complex software integration, our team helps you choose, deploy, and support the right technology for your business.

OUR STORY

Modern Payment Solutions Built Around Real Businesses

Monument Payments was founded on the Western Slope of Colorado, with a simple belief: most businesses do not struggle with payments because they make poor decisions, but because the payment industry makes good decisions unnecessarily difficult.

Payment processing is often one of the most confusing parts of running a business. Pricing can be hard to follow, products are often sold based on commissions instead of fit, hardware is shipped without proper configuration, and support too often feels disconnected from the real needs of the business. Monument Payments was built to change that experience.

Based in Western Colorado, Monument partners with businesses locally and nationwide to deliver payment solutions that go far beyond basic processing. The company specializes in payment technology, POS systems, software integration, and embedded payment workflows designed around how a business actually operates. Rather than starting with a product, Monument starts with the business itself, how it runs, where friction exists, and what kind of solution will truly support day-to-day operations and long-term growth.

What sets Monument apart is its people-first, relationship-driven approach. Every project begins with understanding the client’s workflow, pain points, and goals. From there, Monument helps identify the right system, configures it properly, and provides hands-on implementation and long-term support. The goal is not to make a sale. The goal is to build a payment system that fits the business today and scales with it over time.

That philosophy has remained the same since day one. While Monument Payments continues to serve businesses across Colorado and beyond, it still brings the same local accountability, personal service, and practical expertise that shaped the company from the beginning. With in-person support across Western Colorado and Eastern Utah, along with clients served nationwide, Monument delivers tailored payment solutions with the care of a local partner and the capability of a much larger provider.

Our mission is to help businesses make better technology decisions by bringing clarity, expertise, and accountability to an industry that often lacks all three.

We believe business owners deserve honest recommendations, properly implemented systems, transparent guidance, and support that continues long after deployment.

Every recommendation we make is centered around one question:

"What solution best serves the client?"

That principle drives every project, every recommendation, and every relationship we build.

OUR VALUES

Why Businesses Choose Monument

Honest Recommendations

We recommend what fits your business, not what pays the highest commission. If a simple solution is the right fit, that's what we'll recommend.

OUR PROCESS

How Monument Works

Every engagement follows the same consultative process, whether you are a single-location retail store or a multi-site restaurant group.

01  We Listen

Every engagement starts with a conversation. We learn about your business, your current setup, and what is working and what is not. This is a discussion, not a sales pitch.

02  We Evaluate

Based on what we learn, we assess your current payment technology and identify opportunities. For businesses in our service area, we can do this on-site. For others, we work through a detailed remote evaluation.

03 We Recommend

We present a recommendation with clear pricing, a deployment timeline, and a straightforward explanation of why we think it is the right fit. There is no obligation. If it makes sense for your business, we move forward. If it does not, we part ways with no hard feelings.

04  We Deploy

We configure the system, install the hardware, program the software, and train your team. For on-site deployments, we are there in person. For remote deployments, hardware arrives pre-configured with remote training and support.

05 We Support

After deployment, Monument stays involved. We conduct regular rate reviews, help you optimize your system as your business evolves, and provide ongoing support. You have a direct contact at Monument, not a generic support queue.
