Monument is a consulting and deployment firm that evaluates your business, recommends the right technology, deploys it correctly, and stays accountable after launch. For most systems, Monument works with its partner network to source hardware. For Square, Monument is an official reseller, which means procurement, configuration, training, and support are all handled locally.
Every system on this page is one that Monument has evaluated, tested, and deployed for real businesses. We do not list systems we have not used. The recommendation always starts with your business needs, not with what we have available.

How does Monument help me choose the right system?

recommending options.

Does Monument sell the hardware directly?
Yes.
Monument provides the hardware required for the solutions we deploy.
More importantly, we configure, install, train your staff, and support the
equipment so everything works together correctly from day one.
Our focus isn't simply providing hardware—it's delivering a complete business
solution.
Can I use a system I already have?
In many cases, yes.
The answer largely depends on whether your existing software is proprietary or
whether it supports third-party payment gateway integrations.
Many industry-specific software platforms—including medical, veterinary,
automotive, property management, and other specialized software—are designed
to integrate with payment gateways, and we're experts at connecting those
systems without requiring you to replace the software you already use.
If your current software is proprietary and doesn't allow outside payment
integrations, we'll explain your available options and only recommend replacing
the system when there's a clear operational or financial benefit.
What is the difference between a terminal and a POS system?
A terminal handles payment acceptance. A POS system adds inventory management, employee tracking, reporting, and customer engagement on top of that. Monument helps you determine which level of technology your operation actually needs.
How long does deployment take?
Simple payment terminal installations can often be completed in approximately
one week, depending on underwriting, equipment availability, shipping, and
configuration.
Full POS deployments typically take between two and four weeks depending on
inventory setup, menu programming, hardware installation, software
integrations, and staff training.
Monument manages the entire process—from application through go-live—to ensure
everything is configured correctly before launch.
What happens after the system is deployed?
Monument provides ongoing support and periodic reviews to ensure your setup continues to perform. If something changes in your business, we help you adapt.
