Justin Kappel

President & Owner

Justin Kappel is the founder of Monument Payments, a Western Colorado–based payments and POS technology company built on transparency, expertise, and real support. A fourth-generation Western Slope native, Justin takes pride in serving the business community he grew up in.

What began as a one-man operation has grown into a team of more than 50, including dedicated in-house support and operations staff alongside experienced field professionals. A Certified Payments Professional through the Electronic Transactions Association, Justin helps business owners simplify payments, point-of-sale systems, and integrations while planning for growth.

He has built Monument by investing in people, developing leaders, and keeping local, responsive service at the center of everything the company does.

Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family and Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle.
