Dylan Berning

Director of Sales

Dylan brings a unique blend of hands-on experience and real-world perspective to Monument Payments. Raised in a family of restaurateurs and spending his early years building log homes with his father, he developed a strong work ethic and a practical approach to problem solving from a young age.

After moving to Colorado at 18, Dylan spent several years guiding whitewater rafting trips through Glenwood Canyon and leading pack trips and hunting excursions in the Snowmass Wilderness. These experiences sharpened his ability to think quickly, adapt to changing conditions, and lead with confidence in high-pressure environments.

He also brings over a decade of experience in the restaurant and bar industry, having worked in both front- and back-of-house roles and into management. This gives him a deep understanding of operations, customer experience, and the day-to-day challenges business owners face.

At Monument, Dylan works closely with business owners to identify inefficiencies, simplify operations, and implement solutions that support long-term growth. He also plays a key role in leading and developing the Monument sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a consistent, high-level experience for every client.

Outside of work, Dylan enjoys spending time in the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and exploring the mountains of Western Colorado.
